How it all works
Each project is different and everyone works in different ways. As an editor I can help you at each stage, from vague ideas to final drafts. The easiest way to start working together is to tell me all the details and we can discuss it together.
I work freelance on an hourly basis and my fees will depend on your project’s size and scope. Here are some guides:
➸ General consulting, helping with confusing bits, storylines, bespoke tutoring and mentoring: £35 per hour
➸ Developmental and copy editing: £40 per hour (for a finished novel of around 80,000 words, the total hours will reach around £1,000)
➸ Submission package (appraisal of your opening chapter and synopsis): Around £200-£350 depending on word count
